One of the main objectives of the Nunataryuk WP7 - "Natural Resources, Economy and Coastal Community Planning" has been to quantify the impact of permafrost thaw in coalstal communities and to find out how the communities themselves perceive the changes and how those perceptions are central to efficient natural resource management.
They have now created a story map to share the results from the local surveys in Aklavik, Northwest Territories in Canada, Longyearbyen in Svalbard and Qeqertarsuaq in Greenland.
You can go to the story map thorugh this link HERE. The results are also published in a peer-reviewed paper in Polar Geography.
